Debra DaVaughn Lyric Soprano

Debra DaVaughn is an active professional performer throughout the lower mainland in British Columbia. Focusing primarily on opera and operetta, her repertoire is centered in the light lyric fach, however her brilliant upper extension allows her to explore some of the lighter coloratura roles as well. She is widely known for her radiant voice and compelling characterizations.

2006 saw her debut with Burnaby Lyric Opera (Léhar, The Merry Widow - Clo-Clo) and The Opera Project (Mozart, Cosi fan tutte - Despina). She has sung with the Vancouver Opera chorus since 2005.

In 2007 she will debut with Opera Appassionata as Laurette in Bizet's Le Docteur Miracle.
